Animated covers accompanying National Geographic Traveller (UK) magazine have allowed for a whole new level of immersion since their introduction in March 2025. Whether it鈥檚 scenic shots of Vietnam鈥檚 rolling landscapes or the dynamic culture of Spain, the award-winning cover stories have been brought to life with the help of the print, digital and design teams.
Becky Redman, art director at National Geographic Traveller (UK), said: 鈥淲e have welcomed the creative challenge of finding the best video that also reflects the inner pages of the cover story. Once it鈥檚 done, however, it鈥檚 an intense feeling of completion.鈥�
